Vespers for the 550th anniversary of the death of Richard Plantagenet, Duke Of York, followed by a lecture: The Heraldic Funeral: Its Purpose and Meaning by Julian Litten, PhD, FSA. The event was part of an historical re-enactment by the Wakefield Historical Society of the funeral cortège from Pontefract to Fotheringhay, which stopped in Stamford in 1476.
